One OK Rock, Detox Australia Tour, Sydney 2026-03-14 (4K)

Second show of the weekend and honestly the one I was perhaps looking forward to the most, because while I am a massive Linkin Park fan (spoilers for the video coming soon from that show the next night) I have at least seen them a few times before, but I have not had opportunity to see One OK Rock before since becoming a fan many years ago, so I leapt at the chance to see them. If you ever have the opportunity, I would soundly recommend it. The one disappointment came before the show, because I wanted to buy some shirts, since it is practically impossible to get band merchandise for Japanese bands outside of tours. But there was only a few stands, and the queues were massive - and they only opened entry to the venue less than an hour before the opening act. I joined the merch queue immediately upon entering, and was slowly winding my way to the front for the entire pre-show, and the whole time that the opening act was performing. They sounded great, from what I could hear, but only caught glimpses back through the inner doors once or twice. I eventually rejoined the main crowd - just as they finished their set. Nothing the fault of either band, I would think, just completely the mismanagement of the venue organisers. They should have had either a merch stand open outside the venue earlier in the day (which LP did before their shows) or at least open the outer doors much earlier.
