Punchy Or Just Pretending? (Toyota RAV4 PHEV GR Sport 2026 Review)

After introducing the core Toyota RAV4 hybrid range earlier this year, the brand has now ushered in the first plug-in hybrid version of this popular medium SUV. While it’s offered in the more affordable XSE trim, the top-spec GR Sport is the focus of today’s review. It packs high-tech features like adaptive suspension, 122km of electric range and a total output of 227kW of combined power to its AWD system, with a 0-100km time of 5.8 seconds quoted.
