Rick Wakeman Sells His Famous Tour Bus At Auction!

When rock legend Rick Wakeman visited Mathewsons, he brought with him far more than just a vehicle. This 1985 Dodge Ram RV was originally purchased by Rick for touring after he grew tired of waiting in airports. Before long, other members of Yes were travelling with him, making it a memorable part of the band's touring history. The vehicle later featured in the BBC documentary Tales from the Tour Bus: Rock 'n' Roll on the Road, presented by Rick himself. Even better, every penny raised from the sale was donated to Saving Strays Dog Charity, a cause that Rick has supported for many years, and we topped up the sale price ourselves to make sure the charity got a little bit more.
