Former President Rodrigo Duterte has encouraged Filipinos staging protests to continue their actions amid what he described as abuses in the country, according to his daughter, Veronica “Kitty” Duterte.Speaking to supporters of the former president in The Hague, Netherlands, on Wednesday, Kitty said she had updated her father on recent developments in the Philippines, including the ongoing protest rally of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).Maiksi lang ‘yung sinabi niya. Hopefully, everything is peaceful.The former president is detained at The Hague for his trial for crimes against humanity before the International Criminal Court.
