EIC Corporate Day with Siemens: Advancing industrial AI innovation

On 11-12 May 2026, the European Innovation Council (EIC) and Siemens co-hosted an EIC Corporate Day in Munich, Germany, bringing together 14 EIC-backed startups from 8 countries to collaborate on the future of industrial artificial intelligence. The participating companies were selected by Siemens and supported through weeks of targeted coaching and business proposal reviews delivered by the EIC Corporate Partnership Programme. During the two-day activity, innovators presented their solutions in structured pitching sessions and engaged in one-to-one meetings with Siemens’ senior decision-makers and technical specialists. Discussions explored concrete pathways to pilots, co-development projects, and strategic partnerships across eight key innovation areas: factory automation and robotics, AI-driven workflow optimisation, autonomous building technologies, AI copilots for engineering and simulation, computer vision, predictive maintenance, resilient industrial communication systems, and obstacle-aware navigation. The EIC Corporate Partnership Programme continues to provide dedicated follow-up support over six months to help transform the most promising connections into pilots and commercial agreements.
