What's New in the Siemens Industrial Edge Ecosystem 06/26

Annemarie from the Industrial Edge team presents the latest updates included in the June 2026 release of Siemens Industrial Edge. In this video, she introduces a new major version of Industrial Edge Management Pro (Version 2), which features fine-grained identity and access management, a modernized user interface, and a clear migration path for Version 1 users. Annemarie also walks through the new Installation Guidance capabilities, which validate app updates and app-to-app dependencies to ensure system stability. She also introduces the new "App Browse feature", which enables users to pull the latest application versions and updates from the IE Hub directly within Industrial Edge Management. This feature streamlines the process of acquiring new applications and updates. She highlights three powerful new Marketplace applications: The "ML Cube Platform" provides powerful AI supervision; the "HighByte Intelligence Hub" is a data integration solution that connects IT and OT systems, standardizes data, and reduces integration time from months to minutes; and "Opcenter X BOP Execution" helps optimize processes. Lastly, Annemarie presents new ruggedized Edge Devices from Onlogic. These fanless, hardware-secured devices are designed for extreme industrial environments ranging from -40°C to 70°C.
