Ozala Re-joins The Troop As Aarde Stands His Ground Against Ozala

*Witness a powerful moment as the full gorilla troop reunites. Brave newcomer Aarde stands his ground in an unexpected feeding time clash with Ozala.* The full troop is finally together, and what a moment to witness at feeding time. This is the first time I have filmed Ozala with the whole troop, and there is no more separation. Watching them all side by side is incredible, though it brings some natural tension. Little Aarde, the newcomer, is such a feisty youngster. When things got heated at the feeding area, he truly surprised me. Instead of backing down, he turned around and had a go right back at Ozala, even pulling her leg! Ozala seemed completely lost, not knowing where to look or what to do, especially with mum Shanga screaming in her direction as well. It is a raw, honest look at gorilla introductions.
