Wait For The Moment Jeff Starts Jumping For The Camera

*Playful Jeff tries to get Cyndi to play while she's tucked in her mum's arms, before he treats me to a silent hooting display at Chester Zoo.* Back at Chester Zoo and things are getting quite lively in the chimpanzee habitat. Youngster Jeff is in a particularly playful mood and he has been doing his best to get baby Cyndi to play, even though she is tucked away safely in her mum's arms. When his attempts at finding a playmate didn't quite work out, he decided to come right up to me and my camera instead. He started jumping up and down and moving his mouth like he was hooting, though there wasn't a single sound coming out! It was quite the silent performance. Chrissie was showing off a different kind of skill. She managed to get hold of a tiny stick to clean her baby's ear, very carefully inserting it just like a cotton bud. I don't think that one came with a warning label about not putting it too far into the ear but mum seems to know what she can and can't do! While she was still attending to her daughter, Jeff moved on from the camera to take his energy out on a nearby bush.
