We begin our walk from the famous Pierre Loti hill to enjoy one of the most iconic panoramic views of the Golden Horn and try the Cable Car (Teleferik) ride down to Eyüpsultan streets. Eyüp is located at the Golden Horn on the European side of Istanbul. This area is very interesting to walk around and besides the famous Pierre Loti hill which known as 'Lovers hill' as well, overlooking the Golden Horn in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul. The hill took its name from the French novelist and orientalist Julien Viaud, who came to Istanbul in 1876 and settled here, and is known for frequently visiting a coffee house on this hill. This hill and its tea garden with the same name are also a place frequently visited by tourists coming to Istanbul. You can have a wonderful experience for accessing to the hill by the TF2 (Eyüp - Pierre Loti) Cable Car Line (Teleferik). Upon arrival at the hill, lies an open air café, which offers great views to the city. The teleferik runs every day from 8:00 till 23:00 at night and each wagon carries 8 people. You can use your ISTANBULKART for the transport. This popular tourist destination is a nice and picturesque hilly place of Istanbul city in Turkey. If you are looking for a magnificent view and a hot coffee, this is the place, as the views from Pierre Loti are breathtaking. To go to Eyüpsultan is easiest by Tram T5 and you can connect via Eminönü.
