Crispy outside, tender inside, with a rich homemade chocolate sauce. Recipe for cooking and ingredients: • 0.8 cup water (200 ml / 6.7 fl oz) • ¼ cup butter (40 g / 1.4 oz) • 1 cup rolled oats (100 g / 3.5 oz) – grind into flour • 1 egg For chocolate sauce: • 1½ cups milk (360 ml / 12 fl oz) • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder • ½ tbsp stevia • 3 tbsp milk + 1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening) Equipment/Baking: • Piping bag • Baking sheet with parchment • 200 °C (390 °F) — 20 minutes Instructions 1. In a skillet, bring water + butter to a boil, then reduce heat. 2. Grind oats into flour and add to the hot mixture. 3. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until the dough becomes thick and smooth (you won’t taste the oats!). 4. Transfer dough to a bowl, make a well in the center, add 1 egg. 5. Mix thoroughly until smooth. 6. Place dough in a piping bag. 7. Pipe churros in heart, triangle, circle, or any shape onto parchment. 8. Brush with beaten egg. 9. Bake at 200 °C for 20 minutes until golden. 10. Sauce: • Heat 1½ cups milk + cocoa + stevia in a saucepan. • Separately mix 3 tbsp milk + 1 tbsp cornstarch. • Slowly pour into the hot mixture while stirring constantly. • Cook until thickened. 11.
