The new best way to build AI agents is to compose capabilities, instead of every agent being a unorganized pile of tools, instructions, and guardrails. That is the shift in Pydantic AI 2.0, and it changes how you build every agent. A capability is a self-contained brick that bundles its own instructions, tools, model settings, and hooks. You compose an agent by snapping bricks together, and the same brick drops into any other agent unchanged.
