Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt Köln: 6/10 bright, somewhat old room with an uncomfortable armchair and desk without a chair. Minibar without filling available. A bottle of water with a welcome glass available free of charge. Kettle is available in the room. Comfortable beds. Modern, fully furnished bathroom with sufficient number of towels and bubble bath / shower gel with unfortunately inferior shower faucet and low water pressure. Fitness area for additional 18,50€ usable for 24h. Sufficient paid parking (36€) are available. Free access to WIFI with adequate internet access. TV very well sized and modern but few channels. Professional staff. Air conditioning was not in operation in the rooms, after switching on very weak cooling performance. First room was contaminated with black mold in the bathroom, an alternative room was granted but without upgrade. Bar with a very large selection of drinks and a very nice atmosphere, but without free nuts and with overpriced drinks, service was not attentive and too lazy. Breakfast buffet very rich and stocked with very good ingredients but very expensive (34€). You felt very ripped off in the base on top came a bed tax of 5,90€.
