RCC Boxing Grand Prix Semifinal: Heavyweight and Cruiserweight. Road to RCC

Russia’s leading promotional company RCC presents the semifinals of the Boxing Grand Prix in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. The eight-round semifinal bouts will take place on July 11 at the RMK Martial Arts Academy arena in Ekaterinburg. The event will continue the RCC Boxing Grand Prix in the cruiserweight division, up to 90.7 kg, and the heavyweight division, over 90.7 kg. The Grand Prix format is a single-elimination tournament: none of the boxers has the right to lose or a second chance. The main bracket participants must earn three victories — in the quarterfinal, semifinal and final. The fights get tougher with every stage: the semifinals are scheduled for eight rounds, while the final will be held over ten rounds. The winner of the Grand Prix will receive prize money, a promotional contract with RCC Boxing Promotions if they do not already have one, as well as regional WBA or IBF titles and a place in the prestigious top-15 international rankings of these organizations.
