'Active shooter' reported at San Diego Islamic center with police rushing to scene

A reported active shooting threat at the Islamic Center of San Diego has been “neutralized,” according to police. A total of five people are dead in connection with today’s shooting, according to police. Upon arriving at the Islamic Center of San Diego, police encountered three dead adults, the presumed victims. Nearby, police found two male teenagers, 17 and 19, in a car, dead of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
