UP Forest safari | Dudhwa Tiger Safari, Kishanpur Wildlife sanctuary & Pilibhit Tiger Reserve

If you want to see Rhino in the wild in India, there are just 3 national parks, Assam, West Bengal & UP. For many Uttar Pradesh may come as as suprise. We spotted many Rhino's in Dhudhwa national park, got chance to see Tiger there. During our visit to Pilibhit Tiger reserve we got chance to see 3 Tigers from little long distance but that was a moment in itself. The next morning, we left our hotel at 5:00 AM for the 5:30 AM safari at Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary. Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary is part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve and is known for its vast grasslands, wetlands, Sal forests, and comparatively low tourist traffic. The sanctuary is home to Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Swamp Deer, Hog Deer, Jackals, Wild Boar, and a large variety of resident and migratory birds. The sanctuary is generally open from November to June and remains closed during the monsoon months. Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is one of India's newest and most successful tiger reserves. Spread across the Terai landscape of Uttar Pradesh, it is famous for dense Sal forests, grasslands, wetlands, and a healthy tiger population. Apart from tigers, visitors may spot leopards, swamp deer, hog deer, wild boar, fishing cats, and more than 350 bird species. We stayed at Earthome Pilibhit Tiger Reserve and explored the reserve through two safaris from the Mustafabad Gate.
