Trump plans more strikes on Iran: 'We're going to hit them hard'

Donald Trump said that the United States is going to attack Iran “very hard” on Wednesday unless a peace deal is finalised. “We'll see what happens, but we hit them hard yesterday, and we're going to hit them again hard today, in case you miss it, in case you don't turn on your television set,” he told reporters at the White House. After urging de-escalation between Israel and Iran earlier in the week, Trump vowed to press on “attacking them very hard”, citing the downing of a US Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz.
