Pacific Coast Railroad Steam Trains

The Santa Margarita Ranch, nestled among California's Coastal Mountains just north of San Luis Obispo, is home to the Pacific Coast Railroad. This private railroad features three steam locomotives and a mile and a half of track that winds in a loop around the ranch. In April of 2025, a special photography event was held at the railroad, featuring locomotives 2 and 3. In this video, we will briefly discuss the history of both the ranch and railroad and then take a look at the two steam locomotives in action.
