The Great Australian Garden Menace: Brush Turkey Climbs a Tree! This bird is WAY TOO PRETTY! The brushturkey is an infamous bird notorious for fossicking through gardens making a bit of a mess. Sure, many people dislike them but when you get to know them you realise that they mean well and are just trying to make a living like the rest of us. Although brushturkeys do roost in trees for the night for safety reasons, you don't often see them climbing into the treetops during the day. It had been raining all the previous day and night, so perhaps this one wanted a safe place to enjoy some sunshine and dry-out while preening his feathers. #turkey #birds #animals
