Tiny Mistletoebird Busts Out the World's Cutest Dance

Have you ever seen a tiny bird with moves like these? 🐦💃 While exploring bushland on the north-western outskirts of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, I was lucky enough to film my very first male mistletoebird. As he climbed along a branch in the sunshine after several days of rain, he suddenly performed a hilarious little movement that looked uncannily like a dance. It only lasted a split second, but it was too funny not to share, so I looped the moment and set it to some upbeat music. Whether he's celebrating the return of the sun, showing off, or simply going about his normal bird business, this tiny Australian native certainly has plenty of personality! Sometimes nature is peaceful and awe-inspiring. Sometimes it's unexpectedly adorable. And sometimes it makes you laugh out loud.
