Maruti Suzuki Victoris CBG Variant Launched At 2025 Tokyo Motor Show - Full Interior Exterior

Suzuki is showcasing its CBG (compressed biogas) initiative at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The company has been working on this project since 2022, with a strong focus on rural revitalisation in India via recycling dairy-waste into biogas, leveraging that for mobility. What is particularly interesting from a mobility angle is the fact that the halo product for this initiative is the newly introduced Victoris (overseas model). The Victoris’ CNG/CBG-powered version features a CNG tank located beneath the vehicle floor (instead of in the luggage compartment), thereby increasing boot capacity. The Victoris CBG is 4,360mm in length, 1,795mm in width and 1,655mm in height. The Victoris, as we know, is being positioned as a feature-rich, multi-powertrain SUV including petrol mild hybrid, strong hybrid, and factory-fitted CNG with an under-body tank design. This new model is part of a broader strategy by Suzuki to leverage alternative fuels (CNG/biomethane) and mobility solutions.
