Honda City Facelift Spied Undisguised Ahead of Debut -Explained All Changes, Spec, Features And More

Ahead of its official launch on 22 May, the updated Honda City has been spotted undisguised for the first time. The latest image reveals the front profile of the sedan, showcasing several styling revisions over the outgoing model. The new City gets a wider and more prominent front grille with a mesh pattern design, flanked by sleeker LED headlamps. The bumper has also been redesigned, with the fog lamps now positioned lower within triangular housing elements. Another noticeable change is the placement of the Honda badge, which now sits on the bonnet instead of being integrated into the grille. Although the latest image only reveals the front profile, the sedan also appears to receive a new dual-tone alloy wheel design. Changes to the rear section are expected as well, likely including revised tail lamps and tweaked bumpers to give the sedan a fresher appearance. Overall dimensions, however, are expected to remain unchanged. Interior details remain limited for now, although the updated City is expected to receive feature additions and cabin revisions. One likely addition could be a 360-degree camera, hinted at by what appears to be a front camera module integrated into the bumper. Honda could also introduce new interior colour themes along with updates to the ADAS suite for improved functionality. Mechanically, the City is expected to continue with the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with six-speed manual and CVT gearbox options.
