MBTA Commuter Trains of Boston

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, or MBTA, has been financially supporting commuter rail around Boston since the 1960s. Today, the agency has brought the trains fully under their management under the name MBTA Commuter Rail. The system is made up of over a dozen different lines and has a fleet of over 100 locomotives and nearly 500 passenger cars. In this video, we make a long awaited return to Boston to take a look at MBTA commuter rail operations in the year 2025.
