*The Twycross chimpanzees return to their old home, but you don't just get to see the chimps on Chimpanzee video day, today you get to see the Gorillas too. A true full-circle moment for the now smaller group!* The Twycross chimpanzees are in their new home now, which is actually their old home really as this is where I started ten years ago filming them. So they have just moved back there. In this video, I have included a comparison from 2016 to show how things have changed. Although it was believed they wouldn't be visible until Easter 2026 after their move from Twycross Zoo Chimpanzee Eden, they are already ready to come out. You aren't able to see them inside yet, as they seem to be doing some work there. I was expecting the outside to get an upgrade too at least, but haven't really seen any changes. Flynn takes on the muddy grass to come over for a peek. Love seeing Flynn. He is such a darling. Flynn has spotted his old neighbours the gorillas. I wonder what they think and if they really know. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Jambo yet, but more coming soon.
