Located within the Camelot area near the entrance of Gardaland Park, Giostra Cavalli is a traditional two storey carousel built in a 19th century style. Featuring beautifully decorated horses, ornate details and traditional carousel music, Giostra Cavalli remains a popular family attraction and a long standing part of the Gardaland experience. Manufactured by C&S, formerly known as SDC, Giostra Cavalli offers guests the opportunity to ride on either the lower or upper level of the carousel while enjoying views across the surrounding Camelot area. The attraction combines classic fairground design with medieval themed surroundings, making it a natural fit within this section of Gardaland Park. Unlike the larger roller coasters and thrill rides elsewhere in the park, Giostra Cavalli focuses on tradition, nostalgia and family entertainment. The Camelot area surrounding Giostra Cavalli forms one of the first themed environments many guests encounter when entering Gardaland Park. Nearby is the Transgardaland Express train ride, which takes guests on a scenic journey through sections of Gardaland Resort. Also located in this area is the Camelot Shop, where guests can purchase Gardaland souvenirs, gifts and merchandise, and Merlin Stube, also known as Merlin's Castle Restaurant, a medieval themed dining location. Gardaland Resort opened in 1975 on the shores of Lake Garda and has grown into one of Europe's most visited theme park resorts. Gardaland Park features roller coasters including Raptor, Oblivion The Black Hole, Blue Tornado, Shaman and Mammut, alongside water rides such as Fuga da Atlantide, Colorado Boat and Jungle Rapids. Major dark rides include Jumanji The Adventure and Animal Treasure Island, while family themed areas include Fantasy Kingdom, Dragon Empire, Peppa Pig Land and Prezzemolo Land. The Gardaland Resort also includes Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, Italy's first fully themed aquarium, and LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland, the first LEGOLAND Water Park in Europe.
