When sheep farming becomes overwhelming, the urge is to quit. Retirement is a difficult decision for many seniors, however, when your job and lifestyle are so connected as it is on a farm, it is even harder. Farmers love their animals and the land but as we age all those daily tasks with no breaks, rising costs, failing health, and fights with mother nature just wear you down. But, regardless of all the struggles, the bottom line is that we love what we do, the sheep and the land.
