2026 Toyota RAV4 Review: Toyota Doing What it Does Best

As one of the most popular vehicles in Canada, a new-generation Toyota RAV4 needs to hit hard. It’s spent the last 30 years earning its place as the best-selling compact crossover in the country, and the best-selling passenger vehicle that’s not a truck. Add in the fact it’s built here, too, and the stakes are high. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, Toyota did what it does best and applied a series of small but meaningful improvements that add up to a better vehicle overall. The result is that the sixth-generation 2026 Toyota RAV4 isn’t a huge departure from the previous version and delivers pretty much exactly what you expect — and that’s okay.
