Republican Governor gets out of traffic stop after he drops his own name when pulled over by cops

Newly released police body camera footage shows the moment Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo immediately identified himself to a police officer after being pulled over in Las Vegas. As reported by the Associated Press, which obtained the video, the brief traffic stop took place on May 15. The footage shows an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department approaching a vehicle where the governor was behind the wheel with his wife, Donna Lombardo, in the passenger seat. The officer approached the passenger side of the car and asked how the governor was doing. Before the officer could finish explaining why he pulled the vehicle over, Lombardo cut in. "I'm Joe Lombardo," the governor said.
