NEW Sprinter Train Paint Scheme

The Sprinter is a commuter rail service in North San Diego County that travels between Oceanside and Escondido, California. In September of 2025, North County Transit District, the local transit agency that operates the Sprinter, celebrated its 50th anniversary. To celebrate, NCTD wrapped Diesel Multiple Unit number 4006 into a new livery and debuted the name "San Diego Railroad" for both the Coaster and the Sprinter services. In this video, we'll discuss the new livery and potential future equipment plans and then take a look at car 4006 in action as well as other Sprinter DMUs.
