Iran launches missiles towards Israel after Lebanon airstrikes - Watch Live

Iran has fired missiles at Israel in the first attack since a ceasefire was announced in April. Israel says the missiles were intercepted and its military is now preparing for further action. Tehran had warned it would respond after Israel carried out strikes on targets on Beirut claiming it was targeting a Hezbollah command centre. Israel’s IDF said in a post on social media they had identified missiles “launched from Iran toward Israel”, while “defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat”. “Sirens were sounded in several areas across the country following the identification of missiles launched from Iran toward Israel,” they added. Iran's Revolutionary Guards said the Israeli army must stop its attacks on Lebanon and if it expands its attacks or responds to Iran's actions, it will face “more crushing and regretful blows”.
