Description
If you have a postero-lateral disc bulge that you are struggling with the lateral component (meaning simple extensions aren't helping), then side glides maybe right for you. This exercise helps to correct a lumbar spine lateral shift, which is common in disc bulge or herniation injuries. This can also help reduce one sided neural pain in the lower back and/or sciatica referral to one side

Instructions
Lean on your shoulder with the painful side furthest away from the wall and your elbow slightly forward. Place feet together about 2 foot away from wall and gently move your hips in towards wall guided by your hand. Go to pain only, don't go into the pain. ONLY do this on one side, unless instructed otherwise.
Special Notes
To progress move your feet further away from the wall. If this is too painful or you are not progressing - try the standing version
