In this video, lets discuss the disappearance of spare wheels from new vehicles. New vehicles omit the spare wheel in substitution of a roadside assistance plan. It saves weight which increases fuel economy. However it is inconvenient when one is stuck on the side of the road without a spare. What would have been a 10 minute tire swap has now become a tow to a service center which will likely cost more!
