It is a quiet hill station in Himachal Pradesh known for its panoramic Himalayan views and peaceful atmosphere. It is widely recognized for its sprawling apple orchards, making it one of the premier spots in Himachal to experience the apple harvesting season. Siyaram Siddu - We had breakfast here. Siddu - ₹ 70 Kharapathar - It is an offbeat hill station in Himachal Pradesh. It is also famous for its vast apple orchards, dense deodar forests, and the famous 7 km trek to the Giri Ganga river source. Giri Ganga Temple - The Giri Ganga river originates from a small spring near the Kuppar peak in the hills of Kotkhai, located in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Giri Ganga is a major tributary of the Yamuna River. It joins it near Paonta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh. Kupper Peak - It is approx 3,200 to 3,400 meters above sea level. Here is the origin point of Giri Ganga. Legend says a sage brought the energy of Kashi to Himachal Pradesh by accidentally spilling Ganga water in Kuppar Valley, creating a sacred stream. Jubbal Palace - It is a heritage site in Himachal Pradesh known for its unique blend of Chinese, Indian, and European architectural styles. Outside palace architecture looks stunning and impressive. Hateshwari Mata Temple - Its an ancient 8th-century stone architecture, its eight-armed Mahishasuramardini idol of Goddess Durga, and ancient folklore. In the temple premises there is an old shiv temple too. Built between the 6th and 9th centuries, it is considered one of the oldest and most architecturally striking temples in India Date - 13th April 2026 Chanshal Camps & Resort - This resort located near Pabbar River. We booked our accommodation here. It is about 120 KM from Shimla and 10 KM away from Rohru town. Tariff - ₹ 2000 for double occupancy Legacy by Kewal Ram Homesaty, Larot Village - We had lunch here and also explored the stay accommodations too. This place is about 31 KM from Rohru town and 19 KM from Chanshal Pass. Tariff - ₹ 2000 for double occupancy Chanshal Pass - It is approx 4,500 meters above sea level. It also connects the towns of Rohru and Dodra Kwar in the Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh. The Chanshal pass receives heavy snowfall and remains completely inaccessible during the winter.
