One of the worst feelings ever is when Windows fails to boot, and seeing the futile "preparing automatic repair" message which never seems to do succeed. But Windows has a relatively new feature added within the last year called "Quick Machine Recovery" that is meant to solve startup issues in some cases at least. In this video I go over what it's for, its limitations, and why you should definitely enable it if it's not already. It should be on by default for Home Edition, but other editions need to enable it manually. There's also other configuration options I discuss.
