Description
Ever since the big off road trip driving over 7,000km around New Zealand, the little Jimny has had a fault. Every now & again, whilst driving down a slight gradient, foot on the brake (lightly) & going around a gentle bend in the road there will be a sudden & violent loud noise & the vehicle will pull hard to either the right or left. Warning lights on the dash will flash & it takes all my effort to bring the car back onto the road!
It's a real pain & to be honest has put us off using the little 4x4 as our daily run about as, to be fair, it scares you shitless every time it happens!
It's time now to get this issue diagnosed, it is an electronic fault, maybe to do with the 'Lane departure' system or maybe a mechanical issue with the front axle? To be fair the little jeep took a fair battering off-road, crossing many a boulder ridden river towing our 1000kg adventure trailer (fully loaded with tools, spares, equipment & roof tent I may add!).
This is the introduction video, to explain the issue, reach out to you the viewer to see if you have had a similar issue with your Suzuki Jumny Gen.4 vehicle (if you have one?) - any info would be really helpful & of course I'll keep you updated on what I find to be the issue too - I'm sure this & the future videos will be helpful to many as there are sooooooo many of these little 4x4s on the roads now!
Enjoy
Andy
