How To Safely Move Lambs Through A Flock Of Sheep

After giving birth in a lambing pen in amongst other pregnant ewes, the sheep farmer has to then safely move the lamb through that flock of sheep, with her mom following, without causing a stampede which can scare the new mother and could lead to trampling of the baby lamb if not done correctly. Each lamb and mom moves to a lambing jug or claiming pen for a few days for babe and mom to bond before heading back into the flock.This is how we do it.
