Description

Links to the Tool:
• GUI Version (Windows Only): https://mark0.net/soft-tridnet-e.html
• Command Line Version (Cross Platform): https://mark0.net/soft-trid-e.html
(On each page scroll down the the 'Download' section where you'll see the option to download the app itself, and separately the definitions)
• Nanazip which I mentioned: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9N8G7TSCL18R

File extensions aren't necessarily unique and the more generic ones might use any number of formats behind the scenes. But there's a tool called TrID which has patterns and definitions for identifying nearly 20,000 filetypes and adding more all the time. So I go over how it works and some situations it might be useful.
