In May 2024, Sluyter Logistics took delivery of its very first Renault Trucks E-Tech T Sleeper Cab, marking another step forward in the company’s journey toward a zero-emission fleet. This handover represents much more than a new truck — it’s the eighth electric vehicle in the Sluyter Logistics fleet, and a strong signal of its long-standing commitment to sustainability. Sluyter Logistics was already a pioneer back in 2020, becoming the first Dutch logistics company to operate a Renault Trucks electric vehicle. 🔋 A proven electric solution with 20 million electric kilometres Renault Trucks brings over a decade of experience in electromobility. With more than 20 million kilometres driven by electric trucks, the manufacturer is now in full swing with the production of its E-Tech range. The E-Tech T Sleeper Cab delivered to Sluyter is fitted with six 540 kWh battery packs, offering an operating range of 350 km on a single charge — ideal for regional distribution. 🏗️ Ready for the transition to zero-emission logistics Sluyter Logistics is actively preparing for the introduction of Zero Emission Zones across the Netherlands. With the support of Renault Trucks Netherlands, they are accelerating their energy transition through: Route simulation and feasibility studies carried out by Renault Trucks experts - Charging infrastructure assessments, not only for trucks but also for company vehicles - A 360-degree approach tailored to meet current and future operational needs - A new 20,000 m² logistics site is currently under construction and will be fully equipped with solar panels to charge the fleet using self-generated renewable energy. 🗣️ Driver feedback matters Behind the wheel, the feedback is unanimous: it’s quiet, smooth, and comfortable — "almost like being a passenger yourself."
