Audi SQ8 Launched @ 1.77 Crore - Bookings Open, Deliveries From April - Explained All Spec, Features

Audi has launched the performance version of the Q8 SUV, the SQ8, in the Indian market. It is available at an introductory price of Rs 1.78 crore (ex-showroom). The Audi SQ8 features the brand’s signature singleframe grille with a silver surround and a sporty bumper with silver inserts. It has connected LED taillights in the rear and quad exhausts. The SUV also gets optional 22-inch alloy wheels and ceramic brakes. Inside, the SQ8 gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a sleek dashboard with a touchscreen infotainment system, and a secondary touchscreen for the climate controls and other features. The SUV is equipped with sport seats as standard, while sport seats plus in Valcona leather upholstery with heating and ventilation functions are available as an option. It also gets a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 4-zone automatic climate control, Park assist plus, 360-degree camera, soft-close doors, wireless charging and optional adaptive windshield wipers. The SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 500 BHP and 770 Nm. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels. This enables the SQ8 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in around 4.0 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 250 km/h. The SQ8 comes with a self-locking centre differential, adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering.
