The Larson Electronics EXP-RT-DPST-MIN.15 Explosion Proof Timer Switch provides timed controls for equipment in combustible work sites and locations. The 15-minute timer can be configured using a DPST switch. Constructed of copper-free aluminum, the unit is NEMA-rated for durability in rugged environments.
The EXP-RT-DPST-MIN.15 offers robust timing control of equipment. This unit is equipped with a dual pole single throw switch, which allows operators to set the timer to 15 minutes. The explosion proof timer switch is designed for Class I, Division 1 and 2; Class 2, Division 1 and 2; and Class III environments and operates on 120-277V AC 50/60 Hz ; 20A @ 125V AC (7A for Tungsten loads), 10A @ 250 VAC, 10A @ 277V AC. It uses 1HP @ 120V AC and 2HP @ 240V AC.
The EXP-RT-DPST-MIN.15 is constructed of copper-free cast aluminum for superior performance and durability. These switches are not factory sealed and require external sealing fittings. Two external mounting lugs provide simple and secure mounting of the unit to walls and flat surafces. This explosion proof unit is available with either 1/2" or 3/4" NPT tapped hubs. The conduit openings are provided on the top and bottom of the unit in feed through versions, while dead-end versions have a single conduit hub, providing easy and secure connection to main power line supplies. Operating temperature is -40 °F to 104 °F (-40 °C to 40 °C).
