Download the Straight Arrow News app here: https://www.san.com/gowithali - Unbiased. Straight Facts. America is currently facing a border crisis. With rising illegal immigration and I.C.E. raids, this great nation has become a global symbol of both crisis and fear. But beyond the headlines, what is the real reality of immigration in the U.S.? And where is the country heading next? For the next 72 hours, I went deep into the U.S.-Mexico border crisis to find out what's real… and what's just politics, headlines and fear In this video, I start at one of the most intense border crossings in America, and I even attempt to cross myself. After a long interrogation at immigration, I head straight into Terrell County, Texas to meet a sheriff responsible for one of the most dangerous stretches of the border, a place tied to cartel smuggling, human trafficking, and brutal deaths in the desert But the story isn't as simple as “good guys vs bad guys”. In fact, it is way more complicated than that So I flew to Los Angeles to attend an anti-I.C.E. protest and hear the other side, from activists who say innocent people are being caught up in raids and held in inhumane detention camps. Then I go back to Texas to confront the sheriff with what I learned, and ask the questions nobody seems to answer honestly: Why do innocent people keep getting treated this way? From there, I cross into Mexico to visit "Cartolandia", a deportee slum in Tijuana where hundreds of deportees live in cardboard homes with dangerous electricity, no stable water, and nowhere to go. I sit down with deportees who lost everything, including families they were separated from, and experience a side of this crisis that rarely makes the news Finally, I join a retired sheriff and his search dog as they volunteer to recover the bodies of migrants who never made it. We hike into brutal terrain, see the reality up close, and visit a cemetery where unidentified migrants are buried, nameless and forgotten This isn't a video telling you what to think It's what I saw with my own eyes, from both sides of the border Do you dare to join me?
