Description

Sciatic nerve flossing can be difficult, frustrating, painful and a lot of the time doesn’t seem to help. In my case of my disc bulge issue – it certainly works to reduce the neural tension, hamstring, glute and calf tightness in the leg. I have tethering of the nerve root to the disc following the inflammation of the trauma, so I need to work on it to relieve the symptoms and see if it frees up over time or needs a cortisone injection to help things along. Regardless the flossing in kneeling and in rotation are helpful as I don’t respond well to doing it in flexion or sitting as I still have the disc bulge. They both help reduce the symptoms and help me keep me doing strength work and exercise – which is very important. 1.     Sciatic Nerve Flossing – Kneeling 2.     Sciatic Nerve Flossing – Rotation #sciatica #discbugle #nervefloss #neuraltension Become a member of this channel to get exclusive content in 'The Physio Rehab Exercise Library' here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCV40pJjeDHOu_67hEZsgtvw/join Tim Keeley B.Phty, Cred.MDT, APAM Principal Physiotherapist Like this video?
