It may come as a surprise but boxes are actually a vital part of our day to day at the Sanctuary. Cardboard boxes are an essential part of enrichment for our cats. Sometimes we stuff them with straw and herbs, sometimes we spray them with perfume. Both of these replicate the natural pheromones they would typically come across the in wild, stimulating both their minds & bodies! 🥰 So, just like your cats at home, even our big cats love a cardboard box.
