Did He EAT That Spider!?! Mertens' Water Monitor Lizard...

At the favourite creek crossing of our beautiful old dog, Hairy, we found this magnificent Mertens' water monitor lizard... and a water spider climbed-up onto his/her head! In a split-second the spider was gone, and we weren't sure if the goanna ate it or not. What do you think? The video is a bit shaky and blurry, and just as the goanna started to disappear into the water, and just as I was almost successful in getting the focus half-right, the memory card filled-up, and that was that.
