Baby Gorilla has improved his climbing with Mom's help | Genki & Santaro

May 2026, Kyoto City Zoo. The gorillas returned to their enclosure after a plastic bag flew into the gorilla house. Mom Genki was helping her baby, Santaro, climb a pole. Genki had placed Santaro on the back of her hand. Santaro seemed very happy, perhaps because he was able to climb higher than before. Seeing this, Genki smiled as well.
