East Broad Top Railroad Steam Train

Located in the hills of Central Pennsylvania is one of the best preserved industrial railroads in the world. The East Broad Top Railroad once carried coal across 33 miles of narrow gauge track. Today, it is a tourist railroad and US National Historic Site with one of the best collections of preserved rail equipment and structures found anywhere. It has an amazing and unique history that spans the last century and a half. In this video, we will discuss the history of the railroad and then follow one of the regular steam trains for a full trip over the 4 mile long tourist line behind recently restored locomotive number 16.
