This lovely girl had been hit by a speeding vehicle. She couldn't get up and was completely disoriented by the blow. It would only have been a matter of time before a second car hit her. We rushed her to the hospital and stabilized her with an IV hydration drip and oxygen. It turned out that luckily, she had no broken bones but her inability to stand was due to a head injury sustained in the accident. With rest, the swelling went down and she regained not only her ability to stand and walk. She got her joy in life back. From "hurry!" to happy. It couldn't be simpler.
