A huge flap of skin had torn on Tessie's abdomen. Our rescue request arrived moments after the accident, and that made all the difference in saving this young, healthy girl. It's awful to imagine her agony, and surgery was imperative. We had spayed and vaccinated Tessie on a previous routine procedure, so she knew us already, and it took her no time to recover from surgery and tuck into her first meal with her tail wagging. We're so grateful for the fast response of the caller, for the skill of our surgery team, and for the loving care she received thanks to our donors.
