June 13, 2026, at the Kyoto City Zoo. A beautiful, sunny day. It was hot that day, so the zookeepers were giving the gorillas ice treats with fruit inside. Momotaro, the silverback gorilla, looked delighted to receive his ice pop. Genki mostly ate the fruit and discarded the ice. Santaro was watching the ice with great curiosity.
