June 18, 2026, at the Kyoto City Zoo. Cloudy. It was a muggy day, but the gorillas seemed full of energy. The baby gorilla, Santaro, in particular, was walking around on his own. His mother, Genki, was playing with him and walking around with him on her back. Momotaro and Kintaro seemed to be in great spirits. It was a wonderful day.
