Feeding Freshly Cut Hay To Sheep In A Pinch!

We are feeding freshly cut first-cut hay to our sheep because in the moment, we are in a pinch. The rainy weather has made harvesting dry hay impossible and even wet hay for wrapped silage is proving difficult. So, against common practices, we decided to cut and bale our coarse first-cut hay and just make enough bales to feed each barn for one day of feeding.
