Description

What is the quickest way to look inside an engine to diagnose what's wrong and determine its overall condition? Today I'll be discussing the importance of inspecting the nooks and crannies of your car to save you TIME and ultimately MONEY, with the help of a Vevor articulating borescope camera! GET YOUR INSPECTION CAMERA HERE: US: https://s.vevor.com/QT0HJU CA: https://s.vevor.com/QT0EJ1 (5% Discount Code: VEVT5) In this video I will cover: 1. The basic procedures you'd follow when diagnosing an engine problem, be it a visual check, compression check or coolant pressure test. 2. Using an inspection camera to scope the cylinders for the condition of the pistons, cylinder walls, valves and seats to check for signs of wear, excessive build-up or damage. 3. Moving behind the dash, to inspect HVAC components. 4. Moving inside body panel crevices. such as inside the doors, quarter panel and frame rails for signs of rust and deterioration. 5. The importance of inspecting components under the hood that you can't see, such as valve covers for leaks, timing belts for wear and engine and transmission fluids. The engine used in this demonstration is a 2019 Genesis G70 with 110,000km that had low compression in cylinder #3. The vehicles used in this video were my 2014 Pathfinder hybrid (interior), 2004 Toyota Camry (under hood), and 2011 Toyota Sienna (body).
