[4K] Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash at Thomas Land, join us for a full on ride experience on this water ride at Drayton Manor Resort as Thomas and Percy head into a submarine themed adventure in The Island of Sodor. Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash is a Thomas Land water ride at Drayton Manor Resort, located towards the back of Thomas Land near Blue Mountain Engines, James and the Red Balloon and Toby’s Tram Express. The ride opened in 2023 and is now part of the main Thomas & Friends ride line up inside Europe’s only Thomas Land. Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash is a Soquet mini log flume style attraction with small boats travelling through a compact water ride layout. The ride combines Thomas & Friends theming, submarine styling and splash moments, giving guests a water based ride experience in the Thomas Land area of Drayton Manor Theme Park. The attraction has a minimum height requirement of 0.9m, guests under 1.2m must ride with an adult, and guests must be at least 6 years old to ride unaccompanied. Thomas Land officially opened at Drayton Manor on 15 March 2008 on the former site of Robinsons Land. The area expanded in 2015 with more rides, themed buildings and attractions inspired by Thomas & Friends and The Island of Sodor. Today, Thomas Land features over 25 rides and attractions, including Sodor Railway, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Helicopter Tours, Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy, Flynn’s Fire Rescue, Bertie Bus, Captain’s Sea Adventure, Toby’s Tram Express, Diesel’s Locomotive Mayhem, Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour, Blue Mountain Engines and Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash. Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and includes the theme park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. The resort has over 50 rides and attractions, including major areas such as Thomas Land, Adventure Cove, Vikings and Frontier Falls. Frontier Falls is the Wild West themed area at Drayton Manor and is home to Gold Rush, a family rollercoaster set around an old mining town. Vikings includes themed rides such as Thor, Loki, Jormungandr and Sleipnir, while Adventure Cove includes rides and attractions with a coastal theme, including River Rapids, Wave Swinger and Tidal Towers. Drayton Manor also includes popular attractions such as The Wave, Accelerator, Maelstrom, Stormforce 10, The Haunting, Sheriff’s Showdown and Drayton Manor Zoo. The Drayton Manor Hotel gives guests the option to stay close to the theme park, with standard rooms and themed rooms including Thomas & Friends rooms and Vikings rooms.
